TRAINING

The Montessori-Berufsverband e.V. is the sponsoring organization of the Montessori Therapy Training.

The last training course was held with international participants for the first time. Now, we aim to grow globally and secure the future of Montessori Therapy!

The training content is based on Montessori pedagogy, incorporating additional disciplines - especially medicine, psychology, and therapy. Individual and group therapy are taught with a focus on support aimed at integration and inclusion.

After successfully passing the final examination of the Montessori Therapy Training, the Montessori therapist is qualified to independently provide therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with multiple and various impairments, as well as those at risk of physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities, and to work with their caregivers in a holistic and resource-oriented manner.* They are trained in interdisciplinary cooperation and can instruct her co-workers in therapeutic and (curative-) educational work, as well as in the field of inclusion.

* Disclaimer (international): The “providing of therapy” in the Montessori Berufsverband e.V. diploma document does not apply in all countries, and specifically not in the U.S.A. The diploma recipient is advised to check the national/local laws and regulatory requirements before assuming any role that could be interpreted as an independent licensed therapist.
